The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting 2007 was the twentieth Meeting of the Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Nations. It was held in Kampala, Uganda, between 23 November and 25 November 2007, and hosted by President Yoweri Museveni.
The CHOGM saw the appointment of a new Commonwealth Secretary-General, to replace New Zealander Don McKinnon, who had been Secretary-General since 1999. It also saw the completion of a review of the Commonwealth\'s membership criteria, launched at the 2005 CHOGM in Valletta. This meeting was also notable, as a delegation led by the current President of Somaliland, Dahir Riyale Kahin, was invited to the meeting. It could be a good sign for the case for the full recognotion of Somaliland and its admittance into the Commonwealth.
